Target municipalities of the project: Skopje, Gostivar, Bitola, Strumica and Skopje. <\/span><\/p>\n

Target group: Five groups from five municipalities, each consisting of a maximum of seven individuals aged between 16 and 24 years old, enrolled in secondary or higher education, and exhibiting a strong interest in active engagement and effecting positive social change, which will be selected through a participation application process. <\/span><\/p>\n\n

PART 1<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

<\/div>\n\n

1. Mentorship Training: “Public Speaking and Creative Self-Presentation” – Marija Divitarova<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

<\/div>\n\n

Marija Divitarova is an experienced journalist with extensive experience in both domestic and international media. <\/strong><\/em>She currently serves as an editor and news anchor at TV Telma. She also collaborates with the German National Radio (WDR) program in Bosnian\/Croatian\/Serbian languages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Previously, she was a member of the Macedonian editorial team at the BBC World Service. She covers a range of topics including international and regional politics, as well as subjects related to European integration in the Western Balkans.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

2. Mentorship Training: “In a Healthy Body – Healthy Spirit. Training for Physical and Mental Immunity” – Gere Tripkov<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

<\/div>\n\n

Gere Tripkov is the founder and active president of the organization EQUALITY<\/strong>, and serves as the project manager for the Zen 2.0 project.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is an advocate for the rights of marginalized social groups and has dedicated over 10 years to activist projects aimed at advancing human rights. He is a Life & Executive Coach and the founder of the innovative, internationally awarded coaching program “Cosense – Coaching With All Senses”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A public figure with over 15 years of experience in the highest governmental institutions, as well as in the non-governmental and private sectors.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

PART 2 <\/strong><\/p>\n\n

<\/div>\n\n

1. Mentorship Training: “How to Successfully Represent Individuals and Groups”<\/strong> \u2013 under the mentorship of lawyers with experience in representing groups and communities in the excercise of basic human rights.<\/p>\n\n

The mentorship training for individual self or group advocacy will be held in collaboration with a renowned team of lawyers, who have a broad portfolio and extensive experience in training groups and communities in the exercise of human rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the participants will have the opportunity to meet and collaborate with key individuals\u2014representatives of municipalities and companies from both the public and private sectors\u2014responsible for social initiatives and youth-related issues. These experiences will be invaluable in approaching and addressing social challenges.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

2. Evaluation of the mentors and selection of a challenge of interest to young people in the given municipality: ‘Imagine, Envision, and Make the Change.’<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

After completing the series of trainings, each group will propose a series of challenges that hold great importance for the youth in the respective community and municipality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the list of suggestions, the group will select a challenge. Within the deadline set by the participants’ group, and guided by the acquired mentoring skills, a proactive approach, and under the mentorship of the Equality team and the involved mentors, they will work towards its resolution and achievement of change.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n
